Food and Beverages

Is there food available?
Yes. A wide variety of food and drinks are available on the grounds and provided by participating food and beverage vendors.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited cannot be brought on or to airport grounds. No alcohol will be served at the airshow.


Parking and Admission

Where is general admission parking located?
There are two entrances to the airshow parking areas. Enter from the east at Lewis & Beach, or from the south at Yorkhouse & McAree. Click HERE for a map.

Is there a charge for parking?
No. We want to get the cars moved in and parked as efficiently as possible. There are ticket stands to purchase tickets, but we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance so you can walk right in.

Is traffic and parking going to be a problem?
We have learned from lessons in the past where the lines were a mile long and the wait was sometimes over an hour. We have taken every precaution to make it run smoothly. We have plenty of parking spaces and staff in place to direct traffic. We are expecting attendance to be 20,000+ so please car pool and arrive early. The gates open at 9am so come earlier than you would normally come.

Can we sit in our cars in the parking lot and watch the show?
No. All spectators MUST go through show admissions. Once you have gone through admissions you can go back to your car. Remember to display your wrist band. Tailgating is prohibited.

Is there motorcycle parking available?
Motorcycles can park from the south entrance off of Yorkhouse. We will make an attempt to park motorcycles on the hard surface runway that is inactive for the event.

Is there handicap parking?
Yes. Handicap Parking is available on the airport grounds, but space is limited. Overflow will be parked in the VIP Parking area. Please display your state authorized handicap hanger while approaching the airport for access to the handicap parking area. Those requiring handicap parking should access the airport from the south entrance off Yorkhouse Road, then turn north onto McAree Road. Signage and security personnel will direct you to the designated parking area.

Can I leave the grounds and be re-admitted from the parking area?
YES! But you MUST display your wrist band for re-admission.

Are there any certain times I cannot leave Air Show?
No, gates open at 9:00am and close at 4:00 pm - you may plan to arrive and leave at any time during that time frame. Due to the high volume of traffic and logistics of the traffic flow we do not recommend that you plan to leave the grounds and re-enter unless necessary.

What if I leave during performances?
Vehicles leaving during performances may be redirected through a different exit. We may still have vehicles entering while you are trying to leave. We do not have provisions for two way traffic in most cases. If you want to go back to your car in off site parking you may.


Seating

Will there be a general public seating area?
Yes. A large general area seating area on the flight line with a clear view is available. However space is limited, so we encourage you to arrive early.

Does the public seating area provide chairs?
No. Chairs are not provided, you are encouraged to bring your own chairs and blankets. The general admission public seating area is both a grassy and a hard surface area.

Can I sit on the airport ramp?
Yes. In unrestricted areas only. The FAA and the Airport Authority have strict guidelines and regulations we ALL must follow.

Can I purchase tickets in advance of the airshow?
YES. Absolutely! And by doing so you will SAVE $$$:

What is the last day to purchase online tickets?
Online tickets are available right up to showtime on Saturday.

Can I purchase tickets the day of the show?
YES. Absolutely! General Admission Tickets will be available at the main gate located on the East and South entrances.

What is your policy on refunds?
The show will be held rain or shine! All Sales are final.

My online ticket didn't print or something screwed up. What do I do?
Call us immediately and we will note our records, print the ticket locally and mail it to you or arrange for you to pick it up. Please call the Ticket Director for assistance 847-599-9955.
