Don't miss the Fifth Annual Waukegan Air Show on Saturday, September 6 from 10AM to 5PM at the Waukegan Airport at 3580 N. McAree Rd.  Lake County's largest FREE Air Show!  The aerial portion of the show will begin at 1PM and end at 3:30PM and will feature flights by the Renowned Dave Dacey Wing Walker Act, the Sky Knights Sky Diving Team, performances by L-39 "Albatross" Formation Jet Team along with other high energy aerobatic routines and much much more.  The air show will also include free Young Eagles Rides for kids 8-17 from 9AM to noon, the Waukegan Fire Airport Rescue Truck and Safety Trailer and static displays of classic war birds, military and production aircraft all with Free Parking and Free Admission!!!

Scheduled to appear are the Battle Creek, Michigan Air National Guard A-10 "Warthogs", the Madison, Wisconsin Air National Guard F-16 "Fighting Falcons", F-86 "Sabre", TBM Avenger and many more military aircraft!  Rides for an additional fee will also be offered in the C-47 "Black Sparrow" and in the Robinson R-44 Helicopter.  Come and have a great time with the whole family at the Waukegan Air Show at the Waukegan Airport on Saturday, September 9....Northern Illinois Biggest and Best Free Air Show Presented by the City of Waukegan and the Waukegan Port District.  Gates open a 10AM and the air show starts at 1PM, and it’s free!  For more information, call (847) 244-0055
